Renee Long CST MFA

Renee is a graduate of the Advanced Craniosacral Therapy Course (ADVC) with the Cranial Therapy Centre in Toronto, where she was taught by Robert Harris, Co-founder of CTC. She has also been a Reiki practitioner for over 20 years. Her creative background includes a Master of Arts from Concordia University and the pursuit of a ballet career with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in their Professional Division. The dance injuries she sustained at that time prompted her to begin her search to heal her body.

Craniosacral Therapy became a central part of her life through her son’s epilepsy. His seizures as a toddler propelled her to learn Craniosacral Therapy, with the drive of a mother’s desire to help her son. To this day, Renee gives her son regular treatments which enable him to be seizure free with very low levels of anti-seizure medication. Renee believes in the body’s natural ability to find its balanced state. The very gentle approach of Craniosacral Therapy opens an opportunity for the body to achieve a calm and centred state. Renee treats both children and adults in her practice.
